News from the Support Center for Special Military Operation (SMO) Participants (part of Zakhar Prilepin’s Headquarters):
Our commander, Prilepin, and I do not plan to run for the State Duma, yet SMO participants and their families continue to need parliamentary assistance. We are dealing with approximately 1,500 inquiries per month. In total, during this legislative term, I have received over 47,000 inquiries, and in 72% of cases, the issues were at least partially resolved.
I would like to thank Alexander Mikhailovich Babakov and his team of deputies for their willingness to scale up this significant volume of work in the next legislative term.
The positions of Military Ombudsman and a dedicated Ministry of Veterans Affairs are certainly needed—not only for SMO participants but also for conscripts and all other military personnel.
